Israeli occupation forces detain 10 Palestinians in overnight raids across West Bank

RAMALLAH, July 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out multiple overnight raids across the occupied West Bank early Sunday, detaining at least 10 Palestinians, including a father and his son, and assaulting others during the operations.

In the village of Marda, in the Salfit governorate, Israeli soldiers raided several homes, vandalized property, and detained three Palestinian young men, according to local sources. During the raid, soldiers also physically assaulted a number of residents.

In Nablus, occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhoods of the city and Balata refugee camp, detaining three Palestinians, including a father and his son from the Al-Masken Al-Sha’bia area, and another resident from the camp after searching and ransacking his home.

Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained a Palestinian man from the town of Al-Obeidiya, east of the city, after raiding his home.

In the meantime, Israeli occupation forces detained two young Palestinian men during a military raid on the village of Al-Mazra’a al-Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah.

The latest detentions are part of a widening Israeli campaign of nightly raids across the West Bank, where hundreds of Palestinians have been detained in recent months, often without charges and amid reports of abuse, property damage, and intimidation during the incursions.
