JENIN, July 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces opened fire this evening on the vehicle of Mohammad Salah, the Mufti of the Palestinian Security Forces, in the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, according to eyewitnesses.
Local sources reported that soldiers fired live bullets at the vehicle, assaulted and detained Salah’s escort, and searched the car. No one was injured.
The attack is part of Israel’s ongoing offensive in Jenin since January 19, with frequent raids, shootings, and arbitrary assaults on civilians frequently reported.
