JERUSALEM, September,22,2010 (WAFA)- Masked Israeli forces assassinated Wednesday dawn Samer Serhan, at his early thirties in Silwan town south Al Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem, as they ambushed many citizens .
Eyewitnesses said that his body was taken for autopsy at Abu Kbeer in Jaffa, after being left on the ground for two hours.
According to our correspondent the incident occurred within the ongoing confrontations between the people of Silwan , and the Israeli soldiers together with fanatic Settler, on the eve of the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles in their outposts.
Moreover , the IOF and Israeli police prevented the press from covering these events ,while it imposed a tight militarily siege amidst violent confrontations held in Al-Bustan and Batn el Hawa as well as sporadic clashes in Wadi Hilweh and Bir Ayoub.
On the other hand, the spokesman of Israeli police Mickey Rosenfeld claimed that “One of the guards was driving in the east Jerusalem town of Silwan when dozens of Palestinian residents began stoning the car, the guard fired his gun, killed a 32-year-old resident Now the guard has been detained for questioning.”
Silwan, a crowded Palestnian neighborhood of roughly 45,000 Palestinians, is one of the most volatile areas of East Jerusalem, which Israel occupied in 1967 and later annexed in a move not recognized by the international community.
It’s noteworthy that these incidents come in conjunction with September 26 which ends the alleged Israeli freeze on the continuing construction in West Bank Settlements.
