BETHLEHEM, August 23, 2010 (WAFA)- A worldwide ornithologists gathering elected Imad Atrash, executive director of the Wildlife Society in Palestine, a global ornithologist during the meeting of 25 scientists, being held in the resort of San Paulo, Brazil.
Al-Atrash dedicated this achievement to President Mahmoud Abbas and every Palestinian who works and has worked for the Palestinian cause, and to the lives of our martyrs, namely late president Yasser Arafat.
This comes after al-Atrash has proven worth to put forward the concepts of nature protection and biodiversity, particularly the protection of birds since 1995 so far, at all levels national, regional and international levels.
