JERUSALEM, May 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday attacked Palestinian shepherds between the towns of Beit Anan and Beit Duqqu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, and attempted to steal livestock.
Local sources told WAFA that around 12 colonists assaulted shepherds in the areas of Ein Ajab and al-Mahjar near Beit Anan before chasing them in an attempt to seize and steal sheep.
The sources added that the colonists assaulted residents and spread fear throughout the area, while local residents attempted to confront them and prevent the theft of the livestock.
Areas northwest of Jerusalem, particularly around Beit Anan, Beit Duqqu, and Beit Iksa, have witnessed repeated attacks by colonists against residents, their property, and shepherds under the protection of Israeli forces.
