Analysis of Road Cost developments for May indicates an increase in the cost of iron and steel by 6.31%; asphalt & bitumen mixture & its products by 2.09%; foundry products by 1.96%; plastic products by 0.39% and road paints by 0.15%.
On the other hand, there was a decrease in the cost of electric wires and cables by 2.80%; other metals by 0.77%; cement by 0.24% and cement products by 0.10%.
PCBS said that the data of Gaza Strip is not available, due to the closure of PCBS’ offices in Gaza Strip since 15/04/2008, noting that Data collection and Data processing of this activity is funded by the European Union.
