Saudi Arabia contributes $600,000 to UNRWA

AMMAN: April 8, 2009 (WAFA)- Saudi Arabia has made a contribution of $600,000 to the United Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The Representative of Commissioner General of UNRWA Peter Ford received the donation in a ceremony held, Wednesday, at the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Amman. The money will go to UNRWA’s projects of education, health care, and social services.

Over the last decade, Saudi Program of Assistance has contributed more than $50 million to the Palestinian people.
