IOF Arrests 37 Palestinians in the West Bank

WEST BANK, February 16, 2009 (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested 37 Palestinians vast military operations carried out, Monday, in different cities in the West Bank.

Palestinian security sources said that, in an addition to the arrests, IOF attacked several cities and villages in the West Bank, searched and destroyed many houses.

Israeli troops arrested two young men in Jenin, and attacked Romanah village near the city.

In Nablus, Israeli military units searched and destroyed several houses, and detained two young men in Howarah Camp, south of Nablus.

WAFA’s reporter in Ramallah said that IOF, arrested 7 Palestinians, Monday morning, from Abu Shekhedem Village north of Ramallah, a Palestinian from Silwad Village east of Ramallah, and 13 Palestinian from Al-Amaari Refugee Camp south of the city.

Israeli soldiers also attacked Al-Jalazon Refugee Camp near Ramallah, and arrested 9 Palestinians.

In Hebron, south of West Bank, IOF arrested a young man from Tarqoumia, and attacked villages of Yatta, Doura, and Edna, sources added.
