SALFIT, November 22, 2008 (WAFA)- President Abbas inaugurated, Saturday, the new headquarters of Salfit Governorate, north of the West Bank, and issues an order to establish a lands registration department in the newly decreed Governorate.

The Palestinian President said, during the ceremony held Saturday, that he ordered to implement a number of projects in the Governorate, stressing that the Palestinian struggle will go on until the independent Palestinian state is established.

The president declared that in the next few weeks, 250 Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons, saying that the PNA will spare no effort in releasing all Palestinian prisoners from all Israeli prisons.

He also revealed that every Palestinian citizen who does not have their identification papers so far, will receive them very soon. He made clear that 34 thousand out of 54 thousand citizens received their identification papers, and the rest will receive theirs in the coming few weeks.
