GAZA, May 23, 2007, (WAFA)-A citizen died Wednesday of wounds he sustained as he was targeted by Israeli helicopters two days ago on Gaza city, medical sources said.

The sources reported that Abed al-Ra'ouf al-Ijla 63, died today at an Israeli hospital as he was treated there for his serious injuries.

AL-Ijla was seriously shot as he was sitting near his house, when Israeli raided on al- Nasser area in Gaza city. He was transferred to al-Shifa hospital , but because of his serious injuries he was taken to Israeli hospital.
