Prisoners at Israeli Jail to Launch Hunger Strike
TULKAREM, May 22, 2007, (WAFA)- Palestinian prisoners at Naqab prison (in the desert of Negev, south of Palestine) warned to launch hunger strike, to protest against the atrocious policy against them, local sources said.
Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS), in Tulkarem, stated Tuesday that the 2250 prisoners in Negev warns to launch the strike because of the inhuman practices perpetrated against them by the Israeli jailers.
PPS added that the prisoners have a list of demands, includes stopping the inhuman practices against their visiting families and the policy of collective punishmnet.
They also call on the administration of the prison to expunge insects inside the prison, according to PPS.
