Fayyad: Saudi Arabia to Pay $50 Million for the Palestinian People
AMMAN, May 20, 2007, (WAFA)- Minister of Finance, Salam Fayyad, said Saturday that the Saudi Arabia would grand the Palestinian people $50 millions.
Fayyad told reporters, aside of the Word Economic Forum convention in Jordanian capital, that there is some "improvement" in the ways of transferring aid to the Palestinian people.
He added that the Palestinian National Authority is working on reaching aid to the people as soon as possible.
Fayyad affirmed that there are lots of efforts exerted for ending siege, and for more aid from Arab and EU counties.
