Abbas, Rice Talk on Phonecall
RAMALLAH, May 17, 2007, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas and the US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice talked Thursday on a phone call.
During their phone call, Abbas briefed Rice about the latest developments in the Palestinian territory and the Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people.
President called on the US Secretary to act for ending the Israeli escalation and to resume working on pushing the peace process forward.
