ISM: Groups and Activists to Discuss Changes in Jerusalem since 1967

RAMALLAH, May 14, 2007, (WAFA) -International Solidarity Movement (ISM) said that a coalition of left wing groups and activists will present systematic data on trends and changes in Jerusalem since the Israeli occupation in1967.

In a press release issued Monday, ISM revealed that on Tuesday, Kibush, a Coalition of Left Wing groups and Activists, will take up aspects which the State of Israel prefers to ignore - in declarations and the formally-sponsored ethos of "United Jerusalem", as well as in daily practice on the ground.

"The comprehensive report includes data and explanation on the widespread Israeli construction in the Jerusalem region and its implications, the confiscation of lands in East Jerusalem, the neglect of the Palestinian neighborhoods, the Separation Wall (Apartheid Wall) which cuts through neighborhoods, the educational system in East Jerusalem, the limitations on family unification", ISM added.
