GAZA, May 13, 2007, (WAFA)-The Agents Council of the Arab Orthodox Church in Gaza has underlined Sunday on the right of return to the Palestinian refugees.

The Secretary General of the Agents Council, Husam al-Taweel said in a press release on the occasion of al-Nakba that the Council called on the Christians to participate in events commemorating the Nakba next Tuesday. The participants will be raised placards bearing the Central slogan, "Refugees are the cause and return is the solution", which was endorsed by the National Committee.

The core of our cause is the preservation of the Christian and Islamic properties , whether affiliated to our Church in Jerusalem, or the rest of the territory of the historic Palestine, calling for taking all the legal and judicial procedures that ensure the preservation of this property and the preservation of the Arab identity as a cultural and civilized heritage of the Palestinian people, according to press release.
