RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 16, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear in general, hot in some areas and very hot in others with a drop in temperature, which nevertheless remains 2°C above the average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is westerly to northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another drop in temperature is expected, tomorrow, Friday to become around the annual average.

However, temperature rises again on Saturday to become 3°C above the average and another time on Sunday to become 5°C above the average, said the PMD, which warned people against long exposure to direct sunlight during the peak day hours and setting fire to dry grass.
