Palestine confirms 20 new coronavirus cases

 

RAMALLAH, Friday, June 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Palestine Friday morning confirmed 20 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the occupied territories since the pandemic outbreak to 815.

Health Minister Mai al-Kaileh announced in a press statement that 18 of the 20 cases were residents of the new pandemic epicenter, the southern West Bank district of Hebron.

She identified the two other cases as a resident of Bethlehem district and a resident of Nablus city.

According to the latest coronavirus data, out of the 815 cases, 548 are in the West Bank, 72 in the Gaza Strip and 195 in East Jerusalem.

Recoveries has reached 570 total, including 415 in the West Bank and Gaza and 155 in East Jerusalem, leaving a total of 240 active cases.
