Weather forecast: Partially cloudy, mild to relatively cold conditions

 

RAMALLAH, Friday, June 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and mild in daytime and mild to relatively cold in nighttime with a further drop in temperature which approaches 2°C below the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Chance of scattered light rainfall is expected, especially in the northern districts. Moderate to active southwesterly to westerly blows in daytime, and northwesterly to westerly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 24°C and a low of 14°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 33°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

PMD expects steady temperature on Saturday with partially cloudy and mild to relatively cold conditions, particularly in the morning and night hours, and relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley. Chance of scattered light rainfall is still expected, especially in the north.

Sunday’s temperature is set to rise and become seasonal, paving the way to partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions.

PMD expects Monday’s temperature to further rise and approach 6°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to mostly clear and unseasonably hot conditions.
