RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Ten new cases of coronavirus were confirmed this evening in the West Bank, raising today’s total so far to 44 and overall total in the Palestinian territories to 789, according to Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.
She said that nine of the cases were in the new Palestinian coronavirus epicenter, Hebron district, and the tenth in the northern West Bank city of Nablus.
According to the latest coronavirus data, out of the 789 cases, 527 are in the West Bank, 72 in the Gaza Strip and 190 in East Jerusalem.
Recoveries has reached 570 total, including 370 in the West Bank, 42 in the Gaza Strip and 155 in East Jerusalem, leaving a total of 214 active cases.
Five patients have died - two in the West Bank, two in Jerusalem and one in the Gaza Strip.
