RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 21, 2020 (WAFA) – A slight drop in temperature is expected today but remains 11°C above the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northeasterly to northwesterly, moderate to active and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 23°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 35°C and a low of 22°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 45°C and a low of 29°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A further drop in temperature is expected, tomorrow, Friday to become 6°C above the average.
Temperature drops again on Saturday to become around the annual average and again on Sunday to become lower than the annual average by 5°C, said the PMD, which warned people against long exposure to sunlight during the peak hours between 11 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon and from lighting fire in areas with dry grass.
