RAMALLAH, Monday, May 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Nine Palestinian districts, all in the West Bank, are currently clear of coronavirus after all patients in these districts have recovered, today said the Ministry of Health.
It said Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Nablus, Tulkarm, Jenin, Qalqilya, Salfit, Tubas, Jericho, and Bethlehem, the epicenter of the disease in Palestine, are now clear of the pandemic. Hebron district, which yesterday had the latest five cases, and Jerusalem district, which includes the Israeli occupied part and the villages under Palestinian Authority administration, as well as the Gaza Strip, still have cases.
Palestine reported 560 cases of coronavirus of whom 361 were in the West Bank, 20 in Gaza and 179 in occupied East Jerusalem. A total of 453 have recovered in all these sections of Palestine.
