RAMALLAH, November 23, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli army forces detained at least 16 Palestinians during predawn raids across the West Bank, Palestinian sources said on Wednesday.
Soldiers reportedly detained nine Palestinians, five of them minors, from the village of Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, after raiding the village. Residents said the soldiers ransacked homes during the search-and-arrest campaign.
The army warned the residents of the village that they will all undergo collective punishment if local youths continue to throw stones at Israeli vehicles passing near the village.
Forces also detained five Palestinians in the Hebron district and two others in Tulkarm.
