GAZA, September 26, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed on Saturday after being shot by Israeli forces in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources at al-Shifa Hospital reported that the Palestinian succumbed to wounds sustained from Israeli army gunfire in Jabalia, bringing the death toll since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 to 1,408. More than 4,890 Palestinians have been injured, while the number of bodies recovered has reached 834.

Several Palestinians, including a child, were injured when an Israeli drone struck the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, while Israeli artillery shelled areas east of the city.

Israeli forces continue to violate the ceasefire through artillery shelling and gunfire in several areas, particularly those sheltering displaced Palestinians.
