RAMALLAH, September 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces raided the campus of Birzeit University, north of Ramallah, on Saturday and stormed one of its buildings.

Birzeit University condemned the raid, which it said was accompanied by intimidation and terror among students as they sat for their final summer-session examinations.

The university described the raid as a blatant and explicit violation of the sanctity of the university and of international conventions and laws that guarantee the protection of educational institutions, their staff, and students, and prohibit attacks on education and disruption of the educational process.
