JERUSALEM, August 29, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained 15 Palestinians in multiple overnight raids across the West Bank, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and security sources.
PPS said Israeli forces detained six Palestinians in Izzariyeh, east of Jerusalem.
Forces also detained three Palestinian minors after storming their family homes in Nahalin village, west of Bethlehem in the southern West Bank.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians during a similar raid in Kufr Rai, southwest of Jenin. One of the detainees was identified as an undergraduate student in the Arab American University.
Another Palestinian was detained during a subsequent raid into the neighboring town of Arraba.
Two other Palestinians were detained during separate predawn raids into Qalqiliya and Nablus districts.
Israeli troops also detained a Palestinian from his workplace in Hebron’s Jabal al-Rahma neighborhood.
