RIYADH, November 8, 2017 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas met in Riyadh on Wednesday with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The President briefed the Crown Prince on the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and US efforts to move the peace process forward as well as the developments in the Palestinian reconciliation.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them. They agreed to continue consultations on issues of concern to both countries.
President Abbas said the Palestinian leadership and people stand with Saudi Arabia in the face of attacks against it. He also thanked the Kingdom for its support of the Palestinian people and their national cause at all levels.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Riyad Malki, member of the Fatah Central Committee and the head of the Civil Affairs Authority, Hussein al-Sheikh, the head of the General Intelligence Service Majid Faraj and the Palestinian ambassador to Saudi Arabia Basem Agha.
