RAMALLAH, Saturday, August 31, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is relatively hot in daytime and fair in nighttime, with a slight rise in temperature approaching two degrees Celsius above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 42°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is set to slightly drop on Monday through Tuesday setting back to its annual average.
PMD warned people against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially during the peak hours of the day from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm local time, and against setting fire to areas where dry grass has grown.
