RAMALLAH, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 (WAFA) – Deputy chairman of President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah movement, Mahmoud al-Aloul, met with Russian ambassador to the State of Palestine, Gocha Buachidze in Ramallah where they discussed the current situations in the Palestinian arena and the region.

Fatah’s deputy chairman briefed the Russian ambassador on the violations carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities, including the premeditated killings, demolition of houses and structures, expansion of colonial settlements, and the continuous Judaization of Jerusalem.

Al-Aloul affirmed the firm stance of the Palestinian leadership that ending the occupation of the Palestinian territories is the main pillar for the stability and prosperity of the region.

Buachidze stressed the importance of the Russian-Palestinian relations based on Russian cooperation and support to achieve the full realization of Palestinian rights through establishing a Palestinian state as the embodiment of the concept of peace and stability.
