JERUSALEM, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 (WAFA) - Israeli forces summoned today the director of Wadi Hilweh Information Center in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan, Jawad Siam, for interrogation over the construction of a wooden room built since 2009.

Siam told WAFA that Israeli forces raided his center and handed him a summons to the Israeli municipality of West Jerusalem.

He said the summons has to do with the "unlicensed construction of a room made of wood" inside the center, noting that it was built in 2009.

Siam pointed out that the raid and summons were only an attempt to silence his information center and prevent it from publishing facts about the situation in Silwan and occupied Jerusalem in general.
