RAMALLAH, Wednesday, August 28, 2019 (WAFA) - Weather today is hot despite a slight drop in temperature while remaining a bit higher than the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly and light to moderate with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday’s weather is partially cloudy to fair, relatively hot to hot in daytime and fair in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts, with no significant change in temperature.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Friday and Saturday.
