Dozens suffocate in clashes north of Nablus

 

NABLUS, Saturday, August 24, 2019 (WAFA) – Dozens Of Palestinians suffocated by tear gas fired at them by Israeli forces during clashes that erupted in the town of Sabastiya to the north of Nablus city, the occupied West Bank, said a local official.

Mayor of Sabastiya, Mohammed Azzem, told WAFA the clashes broke out after Israeli army forces raided the town of Sabasitya for the second consecutive day, amid the firing of live bullets and tear gas canisters toward residents.

Dozens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
