RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas praised Saudi Arabia‘s support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
President Abbas praised the recent statement issued by foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia at the end of the cabinet session held in Jeddah under the chairmanship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, in which Saudi Arabia confirmed its steadfast position on the Palestinian issue and the need to resolve the conflict based on the Arab peace initiative, which called for the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The statement also called for concerted international efforts to reach a comprehensive and just peace, and
