RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 15, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is warm to very warm in daytime and relatively warm in nighttime with a drop of temperature which approaches 6°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly and light to moderate. Sea waves are low. 

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 31°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Thursday’s temperature is set to remain steady with pleasant conditions in mountainous districts and warm to very warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Relatively warm conditions are expected in nighttime.

PMD expects Friday’s temperature to slightly rise and approach 7°C above the seasonal average with warm conditions in most districts and very warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.

Weather on Saturday is mainly clear, relatively warm in most districts and very warm in the Jordan Valley. Temperature is set to significantly drop and approach 2°C above the seasonal average.

PMD warns people against direct exposure to sunlight for long period, particularly from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and setting fire to dry leaves and grass.
