RAMALLAH, April 22, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian citizen was injured by live ammunition, and 30 others were detained, on Wednesday, following an attack by colonists and Israeli occupation forces on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah.
Sources reported that groups of colonists attacked the outskirts of the town and opened live fire on residents, shooting and injuring one in the back. He was transferred to the Palestine Medical Complex for treatment.
Israeli occupation forces simultaneously closed the bridge at the entrance to Deir Dibwan, preventing residents from entering or leaving the area.
The Israeli occupation army stormed the town following the colonists’ attack and conducted a large-scale detention campaign, detaining at least 30 citizens.
Towns east of Ramallah have been witnessing an escalation in colonists’ attacks under the protection of occupation forces, resulting in killings, injuries, and damage to property.
