RAMALLAH, August 13, 2018 (WAFA) – The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) condemned on Monday the terror act in Jordan.

PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi strongly condemned on behalf of the PLO what she described as ”the horrific acts of terror” in Jordan.

"We strongly denounce the terrorist acts that resulted in the killing of four security officers in the towns of Al-Fuhais and Salt located near Amman, Jordan,” said Ashrawi in a statement.

“We are appalled and deeply saddened by such horrific crimes, and we extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims and wish the wounded a speedy recovery. We also reach out to the Jordanian people and the Hashemite Kingdom in sympathy and in solidarity.”

Ashrawi added: “We stand together against all kinds of terrorism and the targeting of innocent civilians."
