JENIN, June 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted a Palestinian man and detained several others last night during a large-scale raid in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, amid an ongoing military offensive in the area.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its medical teams transferred an injured man to the hospital after he was beaten by Israeli soldiers who stormed his family’s home.
Local sources said the Israeli military stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin accompanied by a bulldozer, raided multiple homes, and detained and interrogated several residents. The raid caused widespread damage to property.
Military bulldozers also vandalized parts of the infrastructure in the Bayader area of the city, while infantry units were deployed along Nablus Street.
The latest raid comes as Israel’s assault on Jenin and its refugee camp enters its 159th day. The months-long assault has involved home demolitions, arson attacks on residential buildings, forcible displacement of civilians, and the conversion of civilian properties into military outposts.
