Weather: Slight rise in temperatures expected

 

RAMALLAH, June 5, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to clear and mild in mountainous areas and relatively hot in other areas in daytime, with a slight rise in temperatures which approach the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather is relatively cold in mountainous areas and warm in other areas in nighttime. Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah a high of 25°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza.

PMD predicts Wednesday’s weather to be clear and relatively warm to warm in daytime and pleasant in nighttime. Temperatures are expected to significantly rise and approach 3°C above the annual average.

Thursday and Friday’s weather is expected to be clear and warm in most areas and very warm in the Jordan Valley. Temperatures are set to rise and approach 5°C above the annual average.
