JENIN, May 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening bulldozed agricultural land in the town of Arraba, south of Jenin, according to local sources.

Sources said that Israeli forces began levelling land at the northern entrance of the town, on the road leading to the town of Yabad, and issued notices for the bulldozing of additional land for expansion purposes, without specifying the area targeted.

They added that residents fear a colonial settlement plan targeting the lands of the towns of Arraba and Yabad, noting that Israeli occupation forces had previously forced residents in February to leave areas surrounding the “Arraba military camp,” which Israeli forces evacuated in 2005, in preparation for its re-establishment.

Since then, Israeli bulldozers have been levelling lands surrounding the camp, erecting mobile homes, and installing barbed wire in the area.
