JERUSALEM, May 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Dozens of Israeli colonists broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Thursday, under the protection of Israeli police officers.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli colonists, led by the extremist and former Knesset member Yehuda Glick, stormed the compound in groups and performed rituals at the site.
Glick is known for advocating for the presence of Jewish settlers in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Islam’s third holiest place of worship.
