NABLUS, May 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists set up a tent on Thursday on land in the al-Masoudiya area belonging to the municipality of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.
Dhiab Hajji, head of the Masoudiya Land Defense Committee, said that a group of colonists set up the tent on Palestinian-owned land while farmers were working in their fields.
He added that colonists reportedly released their sheep onto agricultural land, causing damage to crops. He explained that the area contains a water well that supplies the surrounding villages and the city of Nablus, posing a significant threat to the region.
