Israeli forces severely beat young man in Tulkarm

TULKARM, May 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday evening severely beat a young man on Shuweika Street in the northern neighborhood of the city of Tulkarm, injuring him, according to local sources.

They said that the occupying forces showed up at a café in the neighborhood, broke in, briefly held all those inside, interrogated and assaulted them, inflicting injuries on one of them.

The gun-toting soldiers closed Shuweika Street and prevented vehicles from passing, while firing live ammunition and sound bombs at inhabitants.

In the course of the raid, the occupation forces obstructed an ambulance while it was transporting the casualty. They seized the keys of a vehicle and smashed its windows.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian sustained an injury due to an attack at the hands of Israeli forces in Huwwara town, south of Nablus.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its crews evacuated a 22-year-old man to a hospital due to being assaulted by Israeli soldiers.
