HEBRON, May 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained seven members of the same family after they attempted to confront a colonists’ attack south of Hebron.

WAFA correspondent reported that a group of colonists attacked Palestinian-owned lands in an area near Khirbet Qalqas, south of Hebron, releasing livestock into cultivated fields. When landowners attempted to confront the attack, Israeli forces stormed the area and detained seven members of the same family.

Israeli occupation forces demolished on February 18 a residential building in Hebron consisting of two connected structures— one comprising three floors with six apartments, and the other comprising two floors with four apartments —belonging to the same family and housing more than 40 people, forcing them to erect tents for shelter.

However, on Tuesday, the forces demolished and confiscated the tents for the third time.
