DFLP: Current conditions require factions to strengthen PLO

RAMALLAH, April 30, 2018 (WAFA) - Deputy Secretary-General of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) Qais Abdul-Karim said the current conditions require the Palestinian factions to contribute to the strengthening of the PLO and uphold the Palestinian Central Council’s resolutions, leading to the outlining of a new strategy that would clear the bottleneck of the Oslo Accords, undermined by Israel, the occupying power.

Speaking during an interview with Voice of Palestine, Abdul-Karim added that DFLP would participate in the PNC session out of its commitment to strengthen the PLO’s institutions to confront the serious challenges ahead as well as the US-Israeli alliance aimed to liquidate the Palestinian question through the so-called ‘Deal of the Century’.

Responding to a question about the DFLP candidates, he affirmed that Taysir Khaled is the DFLP candidate in the Executive Committee and Ramzi Rabah, member of DFLP political bureau, is the DFLP candidate for the position of Deputy Chairman of the PNC.
