TULKARM, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening near the Nour Shams refugee camp, located east of the city of Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the victim was identified as Waleed Hassan Saad Bdeir, 61 years old. He was fatally shot by Israeli troops in the vicinity of the camp.
This latest incident comes amid the ongoing Israeli military offensive on Tulkarm city and its refugee camps, which has been going on for 158 consecutive days.
With Bdeir's killing, the number of Palestinians killed in Tulkarm since the start of the offensive has risen to 14, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant. The Israeli campaign has also resulted in massive displacement of thousands of people, as well as widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, businesses, and vehicles.
