Israeli colonists cut down dozens of trees near Nablus

NABLUS, July 4, 2025 (WAFA) — A group of Israeli colonists cut down dozens of trees early Friday morning in the village of Burin, located south of the West Bank city of Nablus, according to Palestinian security sources.

The colonists, who came from the Israeli settlement of Yitzhar, attacked the southern outskirts of Burin and targeted agricultural land near the home of the Soufan family. The attackers destroyed a large number of trees planted on the family’s land.

This incident follows a recent attack by the same group of colonists on the Soufan home, during which stones were thrown at the house and a tent was set up directly across from it.
