GAZA, July 3, 2025 (WAFA) - At least 13 Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Thursday following a series of Israeli air and artillery strikes targeting areas in Gaza City and Deir al-Balah.
According to WAFA correspondents, four civilians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle near the Al-17 Roundabout in western Deir al-Balah.
In a separate incident, four more Palestinians were killed and several injured after Israeli reconnaissance aircraft struck the Al-Ghafari neighborhood on Yaffa Street in eastern Gaza City. The victims were identified as Mohammed Saeed Ghazal, Amjad Khalil Al-Bahtini, and Mohammed Khalil Al-Bahtini. The identity of the fourth victim remains unknown at this time.
Additionally, one person was killed and others injured in an Israeli artillery shelling that hit eastern Gaza City.
Later in the day, another Israeli strike targeted the vicinity of the Ayedoun camp for displaced families in the al-Bureij refugee camp, in central Gaza. Four civilians were killed in that attack, with reports indicating that the victims' bodies were severely dismembered and burned.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 57,130 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 135,173 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
