RAMALLAH, August 3, 2017 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine decreased by 11.23% compared to the previous month, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Thursday.

June IPI decreased due to the decrease in the activity of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 27.67%, which had a share of 11.98% of the total industry, the activity of manufacturing industry by 10.87%, which had a share of 83.19% of the total industry, and the activity of mining and quarrying by 0.91%, which had a share of 4.06% of the total industry, it said.

Meanwhile, the activities of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation increased by 20.65%, which had a share of 0.78% of the total industry.
