RAMALLAH, July 4, 2017 (WAFA) – The Palestinian government announced in its weekly meeting on Tuesday that it decided to send 6145 of its employees in the Gaza Strip to early retirement.
Government spokesman, Yousef al-Mahmoud, said the government’s decision, previous ones and future one related to the Gaza Strip are temporary and are linked to Hamas, the de facto authority in Gaza, taking steps to end the split between the West Bank and Gaza and to stop all measures lead to increasing the division.
The government said it would take back all such decisions if Hamas goes back on steps that lead for further split in the Palestinian ranks.
