JENIN/NABLUS, July 3, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces raided overnight and Monday a mosque and a village in the north of the West Bank, local and Palestinian security source said.
Israeli soldiers raided a mosque in the village of Bir al-Basha, in the district of Jenin, and searched it before leaving the village, said local sources. No reason was given for the raid.
In the village of Qariot, in the district of Nablus, security and local sources told WAFA that soldiers raided the village and randomly fired tear gas canisters towards homes causing suffocation among citizens, including women and children.
Meanwhile, in the south of the West Bank, Israeli forces raided Monday the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, as well as neighborhoods in the city of Hebron, said sources.
Soldiers raided and searched homes in Beit Ummar and set up roadblocks in Hebron, stopping and searching cars, said the sources.
There were no reports of arrests.
