BETHLEHEM, June 16, 2017 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Friday shot and injured two Palestinian youths with tear gas canisters as they tried to enter Jerusalem without entry permits, said security sources.

Sources told WAFA Israeli forces chased down a number of Palestinian youths to the east of Bethlehem as they attempted to enter Jerusalem to pray in al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Forces reportedly attacked the youths with tear gas canisters, injuring two in their 20s; one was struck in the head and the other in the back.

They were both transferred to hospital for medical treatment, where their conditions were described as moderate.
